On the 1st of October this year an online event will begin…
Helping Polar Bears: Taking Action on CO2
You may be aware that the BIGGEST threat facing polar bears today is the loss of the sea ice due to global warming. The sea ice is vital to the polar bears survival as it is there where they make their living. Scientists predict that two-thirds of the world’s polar bear population could disappear by 2050, however there is still hope if we take action to reduce our greenhouse gases.
Our activities we do daily are contributing to global warming by adding excessive amounts of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.
By participating in this challenge you will be reducing your carbon footprint which will help these wonderful bears, other animals around the world and our planet… oh and those energy bills!.
I hope with this event I can show people just how easy it is to make small lifestyle changes in order to reduce greenhouse gases which added up can make a big difference.
Even if you are not sure on global warming, that’s okay, with this event you can challenge yourself to reduce those energy bills and save yourself some money.
You can find the event here.
